Frank Lalor formed his own advertising agency in 1972. This grew into a group of companies that embraced public relations, specialist outdoor media, Direct Marketing consultancy and direct insurance.
In time, the agency, public relations and outdoor media companies were sold to their management and Frank Lalor concentrated fully on his fulfilling passion, Direct Marketing.
The first consultancy to identify with Direct Marketing in Ireland, Frank Lalor has pioneered Direct Marketing interest and awareness to Irish business organisations since the mid-seventies.
Participation with industry establishment, recognition and awareness has always been a facet of Frank Lalor's approach to knowledge contribution and indigenous growth. These included such responsibilities as:
He has worked closely with a cross-section of international Direct Marketing companies and Irish organisations on Direct Marketing consultancy and projects. These include:
Newsweek International, Readers Digest, Time magazine, ACE Europe, Bank of Ireland, An Post, Premier Banking & Premier Direct Insurance, Park Food Group plc, Irish Life, One Direct, AIG Europe, Oxendales Catalogues, Encyclopaedia Britannica, etc.
Companies like Newsweek International, An Post and Bank of Ireland each invited Frank Lalor to be involved strategically with the introduction of new direct marketing initiatives - each spanning many years of hands-on consultancy, advice, marketing and creative implementation.
Lalor International Holdings is perhaps best known in Irish business circles for the Murray Raphel One Day seminars - the most memorable being the 2000 strong delegate attendance at the 1992 and 1994 Point Theatre events.
Active in own project development and knowledge exchange, Frank Lalor launched many initiatives and was a regular attendee at overseas state-of-the-art Direct Marketing symposia.

Always open to new learning, he attended the DMA.08 United States Direct Marketing 6 day Conference and Exhibition in October, 2008. Main tracks of interest - the Intensives on Creative and Internet/SEM Marketing.
At DMA.08 Frank Lalor represented the Irish Direct Marketing Association at the Global Symposium of the International Federation of Direct Marketing Presidents.
In November, 2008 he was invited to attended the Hungarian Direct Marketing Association's Annual Conference in Budapest. He represented the IDMA on an international panel of industry leaders from FEDMA, Hungary, Norway and The Ukraine.
